How things work

Oven

Your hob and oven do work!! Please see video. If you have trouble starting your oven be mindful there are switches on the wall that you will need to turn on to make sure the oven hob and rangehood are functional. Please contact us if you have any issues and we can assist.

Rangehood

Gently push inwards and pull the Rangehood towards you so that it pops out from the wall directly underneath the Rangehood. You’ll see two buttons one for the light and the second button to control the fan levels one to 3 the Rangehood can then be pushed in so that it clicks back into place after use.

Dryer

Please ensure switched on at the wall and turn dial to appropriate time and push start. The dryer will start automatically.

Aircon

Aircon instructions are located next to the control panel in your apartment. See below. Please make sure all doors and windows are closed to ensure that the Aircon is working. Allow 30 minutes to notice a change in temperature. If there are any issues we would love to hear from you sooner rather than later so we can assist  – thank you.

  1. Turn on Switch below main air-con control unit. 
  2. Selecting comfort mode  – Press the operating mode button until the symbol  Indicating comfort mode is selected. In comfort  mode the thermostat maintains the setpoint which can be readjusted with the rotatory knob.  
  3. Changing room temperature –  the room temperature setpoint can be adjusted with the rotatory knob when comfort mode is active.
    Turn the rotatory knob clockwise (+) to increase or counter clockwise (-) to decrease the temperature for comfort mode.  
  4. Adjusting the fan speed – Press the fan mode button until the desired fan mode is reached. 
  5. To lock or unlock the buttons manually press and hold the fan mode button for 3 seconds. The buttons are locked or unlocked in this manner. 

TV

All TVs will be a smart TV or have a Google streamer/ Chromecast attached to it. You will find the remotes on the coffee table or in your rooms. Use the HDMI function to toggle between Smart TV or cable/sky TV. The building has a number of movie and sports channels available on sky TV.  You will need to use your own login on the smart TV options. If you have any issues or problems please contact us. We are happy to assist.

Hot water 

The apartment has enough hot water for 60 minutes continuous flow for either a bath or shower. This is 150 Litres of hot water, which is the amount the cylinder holds. After the hot water runs out, the cylinder needs some time to fill up. This is the largest cylinder the unit can hold. If you have 4 guests staying with you, please be mindful of this when showering or taking a bath to ensure you don’t run out of hot water. It takes about 2-3 hours to reheat after emptied.
